This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Crossmate Android application.
Local two-player games and games against the computer can be played without creating an account. Preferences such as the selected board theme may be stored locally on your device.
Crossmate uses Google Firebase Authentication and Firebase Realtime Database to provide online multiplayer.
When online multiplayer is used, Crossmate creates an anonymous user identifier and processes information required to operate the game, including:
Online rooms are designed to expire after approximately ten days.
Crossmate does not request your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photographs, precise location, payment information, or advertising profile.
Firebase may process technical information such as IP address, device and platform information, application identifiers, Firebase SDK versions, and user-agent information in order to provide, secure, maintain, and improve its services.

Information is processed by Google Firebase as a service provider for Crossmate's online multiplayer functionality. Crossmate does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for advertising.
Information sent between Crossmate and Firebase is encrypted in transit. Firebase security rules are used to control access to online game information.
To request deletion of information associated with an online Crossmate room, email YOUR_EMAIL@example.com and provide the room code and any relevant information available to you.
Crossmate is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13.
This policy may be updated when Crossmate's features or data practices change. The current version will remain available at this address.
